Quantitative Analyst - grad or student

SAS Trustee Corporation (STC) operates to invest, support and administer defined benefit superannuation schemes worth approximately $42 billion, on behalf of the NSW Government and associated employers. They offer a competitive remuneration package, flexible working conditions and learning opportunities within a progressive and supportive environment.

State Super has a number of short term or casual paid opportunities for current students or recent grads with strong Python skills (especially familiarity with Numpty / Panda libraries).

Ideally you are or have just finished your studies in econometrics or statistics or another data-science related field and are interested in machine learning within the financial sector.

We have a number of interesting short term projects working alongside a small team of quantitative analyst with significant experience in machine learning.

For example, projects would include building a validation library to test for a broad range of data updating issues, developing realized volatility library extensions and an analysis of the correlations of different asset classes in different risk environments.

If any of the above sounds interesting to you and you think you have relevant studies that would support you to achieve great results and you want to gain good experience to add to your CV send us an email to [email protected] telling us about your previous experience and your study areas and future areas of interest. If you have a current CV even better!

Closing Date: Applications close 9am 23 May 2023.
